Who runs this site — and why should you trust it?

An independent operation with one rule: nothing published here asks for your trust. Every number must be checkable from public records, by anyone, including you. This page says who we are, why the site exists, and how it earns — plainly.

Who runs this site?

agenteconomy.cloud is independent. It is not owned, funded, or paid by any protocol backer, payment company, or seller covered here. No one covered on this site has any say in what it publishes.

You will not find a personal byline here, and that is deliberate. A name asks you to trust a person. This site is built so you do not have to trust anyone — the trust story is verification, not identity. Payments in the agent economy that settle on-chain sit on a public blockchain ledger. Numbers derived from that ledger are recomputable: you can re-derive them yourself and catch us if we are wrong. That check works the same whether or not you know who we are.

Why does this site exist?

AI agents are starting to buy and sell services, and the activity is growing. Much of what is claimed about this market cannot be checked — self-reported revenue, listing counts dressed up as market size, engagement numbers. The gap between what is claimed and what is checkable is the reason this site exists.

So the site does two jobs. It explains agentic commerce in plain language, for people who have never touched any of this. And it holds every number it publishes to one bar: recomputable from public data, or not published. The bar itself is written down in the methodology.

How does this site earn money?

Disclosed plainly, because you should not have to guess. As of 2026-09-01:

• Today: nothing. Reading is free. There are no ads, no affiliate links, no sponsored listings, and no paid placement — ever. The full policy is at neutrality & no paid placement.
• Planned: paid verification services. The verification engine behind our numbers is in development. Once it is live, the same engine will sell per-call trust checks to agent operators — an answer to “is this seller safe to pay?” before the money moves. The free hub you are reading stays free.

That plan shapes an incentive you should know about: our future product depends on verification being credible. Which is exactly why the method is public and every number is recomputable — our earnings depend on being checkable, not on being believed. If the revenue model ever changes, we will announce it visibly, never quietly.

What holds us to all this?

Three standing documents, each linkable and each with a visible change history:

• Methodology — what our numbers will mean and how to recompute them yourself.
• Neutrality policy — no paid placement, and how neutrality is enforced structurally, not just promised.
• The glossary — one fixed definition per term, used identically everywhere on the site.
